More Retiring Product Samples

So as I promised, I would show you the rest of the samples from the smorgasbord. All of these cards were made with retiring stamp sets and accessories. So if any of these stand out to you, make sure you get your order in now. You only have two more days to order retiring product, then it will be gone for good. You can go to www.wearethestampions.stampinup.net to order online, or you can email me at tara@wearethestampions.com

I wanted to share this card. It is so stinking cute and went very fast at the smorgasbord. What I really like is it would be easy to copy with new designer paper, so be on the lookout for a look alike.

Stampin' Up Retiring Smorgasbord

What a fabulous weekend. It started off with the Retiring Smorgasbord on Friday Night. We had around 80 ladies join us for a fun festive evening. I put this on with 7 other wonderful Stampin’ Up demonstrators. We had 65 cards to choose from, so the ladies were very busy making cards. Plus we had samples all around the walls of the church. Here are a few of the samples the ladies had to choose from. I will show you the rest later on this week.

I just think this bag was too cute, plus so simple to make! I don’t know about you, but I like to add something to my gifts, so a nice little bag is perfect (plus I am not good at wrapping gifts).

Here are the ladies Stampin’ Away!

Then to top off my weekend, my hubby planned a nice romantic evening for our anniversary. Here is the picture from the roof where we had appetizers and drinks, then he took me to the Melting Pot where they made a special little plate for us. I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend and are ready to have even a better week.

Don’t forget you only have 3 more days to purchase product from the retired list….. www.wearethestampions.stampinup.net

Going, Going, Gone (Cards)

I hope all of your Father’s had a great time yesterday. I know mine did, he golfed and then we had a nice family barbeque. As we went to meet up with my husband my youngest son tells my husband what he is getting for Father’s Day. I have to remember that little guy can not hold onto a secret.
I wanted to show you more cards that we made last Saturday. Most of the materials are retiring so if you like the cards, make sure you purchase the product before the end of June.

I gave you a little sneak peak on one of the cards. It is an accessory that will be available in the New Idea Book & Catalog out July 1st. If you would like a New Idea Book & Catalog, you can either contact me to set up a workshop and receive your IB & Catalog for FREE or you can pay $5.00 for your own IB & Catalog. If you would like me to ship you the catalog please add $4.80 for priority shipping. Contact me today for your own copy of the New IB & Catalog. tara@wearethestampions.com
Have a Fun and Fantastic Monday.

Triple Layer Punch

Can I just tell you how much I am enjoying the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch out of the Summer Mini (122464). It is so nice to punch one time and get three different punches to play with. Since Sunny Garden Designer Paper (119831) is retiring, I decided to play with something new and something old. This card will be one of the cards available at Saturday’s (June 18th at Living Savior – go to the next post for more info) Event, plus so many more.
Don’t forget to check out the Retired Lists:

Upcoming Stampin' Events

I have two special events coming up the next two weekends.
Do you like to make cards? The first event will be Saturday, June 18th at Living Savior Lutheran Church in Tualatin from Noon to 3:00 PM.
All you have to do is bring your own adhesive and be ready to stamp! There will be at least 10 cards to choose from, including Father’s Day, Birthday, Thank you, Sympathy, and so much more. Each card will be $2.00 or you can receive 5 Free cards with a $15.00 purchase. I will have retired product on hand at a substantial discount.

The second event will be on June 24th at Living Savior Lutheran Church starting at 6:00 PM. I am joining 7 other Stampin’ Up Demonstrators to put on a fantastic Card Event.
I am offering some fabulous bonuses that you'll kick yourself over if you miss out on them! First of all, we will have plenty of new product samples for you to view and drool over. Second, you'll have the opportunity to make 2 very special FREE hostess-only projects that feature all new products, ONLY if you book a workshop prior to or on the day of the Open House. Third, if you book and hold a workshop in July or August, your name will go in a drawing for an extra stamp set of your choice as my "thank you" to you! (A value up to $20, 1 in 5 chances of winning!)

But that's not all. Back by popular demand, we will be having a Smorgasbord. It's similar to a buffet at a restaurant where you get to choose from a variety of delightful options. At the Smorgasbord, you'll have over 48 projects from which to choose, and all will feature retiring stamp sets. The cost is $2 per project, and you are welcome to make as many as time and your pocketbook allow. If you want to participate in the Smorgasbord, you need to sign up for a session. You are limited to signing up for only one session, and once it's full, it's full. Session 1 is from 6-8pm and Session 2 is from 8-10pm. No need to worry - each session will have adequate supplies, so sign up for the session that works best for you.

In addition to the 48 projects that you'll have to choose from, there will be a ton of displays to delight and inspire you.

Summer Scrapbooking

Here are the scrapbook pages we made this past Sunday at Scrapbook Crop. I used products out of the Summer Mini Catalog. This first page I used the Hope & Strength stamp set ($2.00 from every sale goes to Breast Cancer Research order your set today at www.wearethestampions.stampinup.net ) I used Hemp Twine and Satin Ribbon to dress it up a little bit.

I used the Simply Scrappin’ Kit Playful Polka Dots to make this page. I added Whisper White to the middle and then dressed it up with the stickers, designer paper and a few photos. The great thing about the Simply Scrappin’ kits is you have supplies to make quite a few more pages. Each kit comes with 6 pages of die cuts (stickers), 6 sheets of designer paper and 8 pages of Cardstock. Everything in the kit coordinates so they work for the beginner scrapbook to the experienced scrapbooker. You can also use the kits for greeting cards, by cutting down the cardstock!

This last page I used the Travel Log Stamp set and Pacific Point Cardstock. This stamp set coordinates so well with any vacation pages. I have not finished this page yet, because I need to find out the name of the lake we went to, and I will add it when I know, but I used the Timeless Type Dies to cut the letters Lake then ran the letters through the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder to give them texture.

If you are interested in Scrapbooking join us for our next Scrapbook Crop Sunday, July 24th at 2:30 PM in my Stampin’ Studio in Tigard (King City), Oregon. Please RSVP, limited seating available.

Happy Scrappin!
