Video of a Card for Private Class

video
I tried something new this month! Private Class by mail! My hostess got a group of friends together, and made cards. I sent the supplies and sent her links to the videos to show her how to make the cards! Since the feedback was so good, I decided to share a video of the card with all of you! If you are interested in hosting a private class please let me know! Since this was the first video I have made, I learned I need to have the video a little closer! Next time!

Card Kit on the Go!

Here is the gift I gave my Mother-in-Law for Mother's Day. I had a great time making this card kit on the go. She received a decorated clear case, 4 cards plus matching envelopes, a pen and even stamps. This way when you are watching your kid's sports or waiting on something, you can just whip out a Thank you card or a little note.
I used the Country Club Simply Scrappin Kit to make this kit, and used all the supplies it came with, except the jewels. I had to add a little bling! As you can see I used a new stamp set from the 2012-2013 Idea Book & Catalog called Itty Bitty Banners. I am loving this set.
I used the Fabulous Florets Stamp Set on this card. I used the designer paper from the Simply Scrappin Kit Country Club and I added a little whisper White ribbon.
Here is the cover of the clear stamp case. I added a few stickers and desginer paper.

Here is how the case looks with all the supplies you would put in it. I liked this so much I had to make one of my own. Especially since we put addresses in our phones now, when I am waiting for my boys I will be making Thank you cards!

Supplies:
Country Club Simply Scrappin Kit (retiring) 122371 $21.95
Clear Mounted Stamp Cases (4) 119105 $5.95
Fabulous Florets Stamp Set W 123025 $23.95 C 123027 $17.95
Itty Bitty Banners W 126255 $15.95 C 126257 $11.95 (not available until June 1st)

Graduation Banner/Thank you Cards

I was asked by a local business woman to do a banner for her son! We talked about hanging it on ribbon, but since she was going on AM Northwest - we just laid it out on the table. Click here to see the segment. I have to say I am very bummed she did not even give me credit. She did purchase it, but shouldn't she still have given me credit? (Can you tell my feelings are hurt)

Here is the beginning and the end of the banner. I used our 1/4 Grosgrain Ribbon that is retiring, so make sure you go online here and order some today.

Supplies:
Colors: Bravo Burgandy, Basic Black, Whisper White & Brushed Silver
Paper: Pattern Designer Series Paper Stacks - Regals & Neutrals
Big Shot: 3 Circle Die, 3 1/2 Circle Die, & Serif Essentials Alphabet (retiring)

Now I will have to create a scrapbook page since my son is graduating from Kindergarden soon!

Fifth Avenue Floral & Thank You Kindly

An oldy but a goody. I am using this card, this month in my private classes. I am trying out a new class long distance, so we will see how it goes. It is hard to put everything down on paper that I say, but maybe that is because I love to talk. Anyways I love these two stamp sets and they will be missed, but I am excited to see what is coming up! This is a simple card to make, but it has a couple wow factors. The stamps alone are think are one wow and the shimmery white cardstock is another factor that makes this card stand out.
