My youngest son just loves Micky so it was so much fun to see his face light up in his house and to see everthing. Memories are great! I used the circle punches to make the Mickey! Here are the cards I made with Nolan's class! They had a blast with the Big Shot and then the punches. Pretty good for 5 and 6 year olds. I love crafting with kids. They are so creative.

I took the Silver Glimmer Paper and put it in Daffodil ink - I used a sponge and sponged it with ink.

Mickey Mouse Signature Books

These are the books I made for the boys. We are headed to Disneyland tomorrow and they did such an awesome job on the car ride to Woodland, so we decided to tell them now. I can't figure out if they are so tired from the ride they are not comprehending where we are going, or they are not quite sure what Disneyland is. Either way I know when they see where we are tomorrow they will love it. Can you tell I am so excited. I am pretty impressed with my energy right now since I just drove 9 hours!
These are very simple, I used the 2 1/2 inch Circle Punch and 1 3/4 Circle Punch. Then the bow tie was made out of the triple heart punch and Silver Glimmer Paper. I did use the Polka Dots Ribbon (Cherry Cobbler) on the top.

Here is a gift I made for my son's teacher and his bus drivers (he has two because he is only a morning kindergartener). I got the idea from Stampin' by the Sea. In crafting we don't call it copying, we call it casing, because we always have to put our own spin on things. Here is the scrapbook pages we made last night at Stamp a Stack class. These pages were versatile incase someone wanted to use it form something else.
I used the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch and cut one of the petals to make it look like a clover. I also used punches on the pot of gold.

I am so proud of my son who is in Kindergarten. He had this class project on transportation. I asked what he wanted to do so he told us he wanted to build a car. My husband when shopping for a model car they could put together. He did not like the color though, so Eric got some silver spray paint to change the color. He put it all together and was so proud, but he told us it needed a road, mountains, clouds and the sun. We made use of all of my Stampin' Up products. He even had the idea to put snow on the tips of the mountains.

Easter Telescoping

This is my favorite card of the year. I just loved how this turned out. I have seen telescoping done with circles, and thought this would work perfect with the new labels.

This is the card when you pull on the ribbon on the top.

When the card is put together, it looks just like a regular card, but when you pull on the ribbon, you get a surprise! This is the telescoping technique. I just love the mushroom stamp in this set. Quite a few of the club ladies put the mushrooms on the inside of the card too.

Easter Scrap Pages

I just love Easter. I love the colors, the meaning and making Easter Cards. I have to catch all those moments and scrap them too. This is the layout we made in the March Club. I used the Simply Scrappin Kit Easter Fever to create the page and then I had to add some punch art to make it pop.
I used the Wide Oval Punch and designer paper from the kit to make the eggs. I used the 2 1/2 Circle Punch and cut off the end to add a little dimension.

This page looks a little baron with out the photos, but once I add photos, this page will look great. I don't like to put too many photo mats on my pages, because then the ladies have more options to add photos.

Last but not least, my punch art bunny. This was made with all punches. I know my whiskers are a little off center, but isn't that what gives the bunny character?

I got Fiji!

I hardly slept a wink last night, because after I put in the club order, I had enough points for Fiji!!! What this means is my husband and I are going to Fiji next year on Stampin' Up's dime! I am still floating! Can I just say I love working for this company!!!

Mixed Bunch Easter Card

I am prepping for a class with the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set and the Punch to match. While I was goofing around, I thought this would be great as an Easter Card. I used the Spring Fever Simply Scrappin Kit for the Designer Paper. I absolutely love this kit!

I stamped the flower and then punched it out! I put it on the inside so the card has depth.

Crosse of Hope Easter

I love Easter. It is definitely my favorite time of year. We used a technique called masking on this card. We used Old Olive, So Saffron markers on the cross, but then we used the inks with a blender pen on the flowers so it would be softer.

We cut out the cross and put a dimensional behind it so it would pop out.

Simply Diagonal

I am so excited to offer the Diagonal Plate attachment for the Simply Scorer. We got to play with these at Leadership, but since I did not win one (not bitter) I had to wait until now to show you. This plate just sit on top of your Simply Scorer and it fits perfectly, it really is that easy.

I showed this to my ladies at club and this is what we made. A box to fit our cards, or candy or anything else you want. I have two more days of club and I can't wait to see their reactions.

Send Me Soaring Scrapbook Pages

We are playing with the Send Me Soaring Stamp Set out of the Mini Occasions Catalog tonight at the Masculine Stamp a Stack class. The ladies have a choice of cards or scrapbooking. We also used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to place the kites perfectly to make it look like designer paper.

Now I just need to take pictures of the boys flying kites!

Masculine Card

Here is a card we are making at Stamp a Stack class next Tuesday, February 28th at 6:30 - 8:30 pm at my Stampin Studio. The theme of this Stamp a Stack is Masculine Cards and Scrapbook Pages. When I am looking for a card, it always seems like I need more masculine cards, so this is a great way for me to make up a bunch and for my customers to have them on hand. I think I have started a business in my neighborhood as being the card lady. My neighbors shop here for cards and I think that is great. It makes me feel so good about my cards.

Ready to Fly Away

This is a card we will be making at a Private Stamp Class tonight. I just love the how the butterflies look like they are flying away. I used the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper (can you tell I love this paper), free with a $50.00 purchase. I also used the Scallop Envelope Die (113462 $21.95).
This ribbon is too cute with the polka dots (1/2 Scallop Dot Ribbon Chocolate Chip 124142 $7.95) but I want all the polka dots to show so I made a simple fold in the middle to make it look like a fancy bow. Very simple to do with glue dots and then I just added a Designer Button in Neutrals (119743 $8.95)

Quilt Pattern

One of the reasons I love being a demonstrator is because I get to watch videos of different techniques on a website called Stampin' Connection (exclusive to demonstrators). I loved the techniuqe Dawn used on this card called Quilting. Now I can't copy the exact card, I have to make it my own. I used the Petal Cone Die (121810 $32.95)and folded the label on the ends to used as a decoration on the bottom of the scallop (this also came from the Petal Die)

I used the fabulous Saleabration Designer Series Paper (126154 free with a $50.00 order) and the Postage Stamp Punch (122344 $15.95)to do the quilting on the outside. You can use Dotto (103305 $12.95) and the graph paper (102787) to line up and temporarely stick down the pieces. Then use regular snail to permanetly attach the pieces. Start from the outside and then the middle to line them up.

I used the regular A2 format (Cut 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock at 5 1/2 on the long side, then fold it in half). I cut one outer piece at 5 1/4 x 4 and the 2nd outer piece at 5 x 3 3/4.

Angry Birds Card

This is my friend Carol Lovenstein's Swap Card from our Thursday meeting. She is such a talented demonstrator. I just love all her creations. I am surprised I could find this card to take a picture because my boys are always sneaking off with this card. They love Angry Birds and they are now making a list of people they want to give this card too! Carol used a technique called Sunburst. Since this was the first I had heard of it, I am excited to play with it in Club coming up in March.
Well we are off to the driving range to hit golf balls - yes we are taking both boys too. This is a family Saturday - so hopefully I will get to hit a few.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! I have done two classroom parties and a craft with Kindergardeners. Now I need to re-energize and get ready for the Big Shot Class tomorrow evening.
I wanted to share with you one of my Team Member Peg's idea. She recycled a gum wrapper and put little hearts in them and wrapped the outside. How cute is that!!!!

When we were at leadership one of the talented demonstrators showed us how to use stamping with baking. She used the Stamp Set Outlined Occasions from the Saleabration Catalog and this stamp set is free with a $50.00 order.

Now I just need to get baking to use my stamp sets. I hope your day is filled with love.

Valentine's for Preschool

These are my youngest son's valentines. He was not as helpful as my Kindergardener, but he loved sticking the hearts on the out outside. He did pick the stamp set Dinoroar.

Valentine's for Kindergarden

These are the Valentine's we made for my son's kindergarden class. They are little matchboxes filled with candy. He picked out the stamp set, punched out the hearts, put the hearts on and stamped the words "I Dig You" I think he did an awesome job and had to show off his work.

I Dig You Birthday Invitations

I was asked by a friend if I could make Birthday Invitations with a construction theme. I had the perfect stamp set. These were very simple and easy to make.

Supplies:
Stamps: I Dig You Wood 122720 $27.95 Clear 122722 $19.95

Cardstock: Pacific Point and Whisper White
Stampin' Write Markers Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight, Basic Black, Basic Gray & Wild Wasabi

Directions:
1) Cut the Pacific Point 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
2) Cut the Whisper White 5 1/4 x 4
3) Color the Dump Truck with Daffodil Delight and Basic Black - huff on the stamp then stamp the image on Whipser White.
4) Stamp You're Invited and the who, what, when, etc on the Whisper White in Basic Black or StazOn.
5) Use the marker and color the front of the loader and stamp on the edge.
6) Use the markers and color the gifts, stamp once on the loader and once at the top.

February Club Scrapbook Pages

Here are the pages we did in Club this month. We always do 3 pages with 1 2-page layout and 1 page that continues from the month before to make another layout. We played with the Saleabration Paper and the Butterfly Die. We added a little stamping with the Fresh Vintage Stamp Set also out of the Saleabration Catalog.

Here is the Valentine's layout. We did one page last month and completed the layout this month.

This is the page we made this month. I had a blast playing with the Heart Framelits which are new in the Mini Occasions Catalog.

I had to add a little embossing so I ran the last heart through the Manhatten Flower Embossing Folder. I thought that turned out so cute I added it to the backgrounds of my soon to be photos!

I am off to finish invitations for a friends Birthday Party. I think they turned out really cute so I can't wait to share them with you.

February Club Cards & Project

Here are the club cards and project we did this month.

This heart easel card was time consuming, but totally worth the outcome. Once you made the card the second one was a lot easier.

We played with a wheel technique. We used classic ink and versamark, then embossed when Melon Embossing Powder so the car smelled like watermelon! This card makes me ready for summer.

We had to learn to punch, score then fold on this card. I really like this look so you will be seeing this card again, but in different colors.

This was one of my Club Member's Memory Board. I loved the Marina Mist Ribbon, it really makes it pop. Nice Job Hillary!

Simple & Easy Memory Boards

I wanted to share with you a project I am making in our Stamp Club. As many of you know, I do not sew. I did give it a shot, and I know my limitations. However I do love our fabric and I still want to make projects using our wonderful fabric. One of my leadership gals, Debbie brought one of these to show us and I had to make one and I ended up using it as our club project!!
These are great to show your current photos off or hold tickets or anything else you would like. This one is 6x6 but you could go bigger like 12x12.

I started with a piece of chipboard. I cut this 6x6.

Then I added badding, with a stappler all around it. I cut it approximately 9x9 and stapled it on the back. Don't worry you are going to cover the back with piece of cardstock to cover up the staples. Then you do the same thing with the fabric.

You add the ribbon going criss cross and then around each corner. I also stapled this on the back. Then cut a 6x6 piece of cardstock and glue to the back covering up all the staples Mutipurpose Liquid Glue.

I had a fun filled day with 18 women at a Private Stamp Class. Thank you Holly! This is an easy way to get hostess benefits and you will go home with cards, scrapbook pages or projects. Be My Valentine

This is one of the cards we will be making tonight at a Private Stamp Class. I like playing with the same color ink and making it look like a different color. I used the Poppy Parade ink on this card, including the hearts in the background. I just stamped off a few times before putting them on the background so they were not so bright. My husband told me those two colors go good together, so I guess the trick worked.
Here is the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper out of the Saleabration Catalog. I love these colors and absolutley love this Designer Paper. Since our Designer Paper is two sided I only used two sheets of designer paper for over 20 cards. I love that.

Happy New Year! I hope all of you had a wonderful Holiday season. It is always hard to get back into the swing of things, but here we go. I had club this last week and here are the scrapbook pages. A Little Snow for Christmas

December Stamp Club

I love the act of giving gifts. I love to watch people react when they receive a gift. My mom always said I was a great gift giver, so I absolutely lovet this time of season. I decided to add a few gifts to club this month. The scrapbookers got an extra page and the card makers got to make 3 extra gift tags.
All of these cards, scrapbook pages and tags are made with Stampin'Up product. The sleigh on the scrapbook page is made using a template. We then embossed the sleigh with Northern Flurry Embossing Folder. We added a few gifts and there you go. We used Lovely as a Tree & Frostwood Stamp Sets.

We used Letters to Santa Designer Paper and Quick Accents to make these pages.

We played with the water color pencils and made a technique book we will add to each month, so the ladies will have a book of techniques with instructions. We made just the cover of the book today. We did the Faux tiling technique on the outside of the book.

I have to say this is my favorite card this month. We played with the Shaker Frames in the Holiday Mini and added some snow (Mica Flakes).

We made the tags using the Peekaboo Frames Die in the Holiday Mini and the Letters to Santa Designer Paper. We also used the 25 & Counting Stamp Set.

I am so excited to share these cards with you. My neighbor and friend Hillary made them. She has never created cards or stamped before. Sweet Press Cookie Stamp Class

This was a fun class to put together. The ladies paid $20.00 and went home with a Sweet Press Cookie Stamp, 2 boxes filled with cookies and 2 cards. If they put in a $40.00 or more order, they received the class for free!

I love my Simply Scoring Tool because it is so easy to prep for class. For the top rosette, I just scored a piece of 12x12 Holly Berry Bouquet Designer Paper and then cut it to 1 1/2 and folded on the score lines. Then I use sticky tape to tape the ends and push it down, and hold it with Stampin' Dimensionals. Then I used the Scallop Circle Punch, Doiley Triple Layer Punch (thought it looks like a snowflake) and added Merry Christmas from Teny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set. I added a Mini Silver Brad to stick it all together.

I used the Stocking Accents Die (Holiday Mini Catalog) with Whisper White Cardstock and Red Glimmer Paper. I added Holly Berry Bouquet Designer Paper to the sides and front to finish the box.

I used the Frostwood Lodge Designer Paper and Stamp Set on this box. I used Window Sheets (Idea Book & Catalog pg 216)and stamped with Black Stazon. Then I used a Sweet Treat Cup (12 for $2.95 pg 182) added Mica Flakes (Holiday Mini $3.50) and punched a hole in the front of the box with 1 3/4 Circle Punch. Added the Homemade a la carte Stamp to the top and decorated it with Dazzline Details. Put the Cookies in a Cellophane Bags (4x6 50 per pkg $4.50) and wrapped with ribbon.

I had fun playing with this card. I used the Bright Hopes Stamp Set, embossed in gold and added some jewels. I wanted the jewels to be red, so I used some Dazzling Details and red re-inker and then added that to the jewels to make them look red.

Here is the project we made for club. I am so glad we had the Simply Scoring Tool or we would not have been able to make this cute Turkey! This will be a center piece on my table at Thanksgiving. Here are a few projects I worked on over the weekend for teacher and classroom gifts. This first project is made with the Box #2 and Pick Your Poison Designer Paper with Quick Accents. I made a Boo Card (in previous post) and used the Web Embossing Folder to decorate the envelope.

Here are my son's classmate gifts. I thought the kids get enough candy so I put pencils in the new cello bags in the Holiday Mini. I used the Scallop Square and Postage Punches at the top.

October Business Meeting Projects

So there was no way I could have pulled off a business meeting last night without some serious help (I had surgery two days ago). I was definitely not at high energy last night, but I thought the meeting went great! I love meeting with my team and discussing how we can make our business grow.

Here are a few Halloween Projects to check out. The first is a card made with My Digital Studio program. One of my team members Carly Thomas made this card. This is a great way to make those photos cards for Christmas too. Plus My Digital Studio works with Photo Shop and other programs. Stampin' Up is always coming out with new downloads, so you will never run out of new ideas.
This second project was made with product out of our Holiday Mini Catalog. The treat bags are perfect for Halloween. As soon as I am back up on my feet (I had emergency Gallbladder surgery yesterday, so I am knocked down for a little while, not long though I am having an opportunity night tomorrow at my Stampin' Studio with some help from fellow demonstrators, we will be making Big Shot projects, their will be door prizes, free Stampin' Up product, swaps and so much more so don't miss out 6:30 pm) I will show you a M&M spider made with these little bags.

Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps

My Boys and I have had a blast playing with the New Cookie Press. My only problem, the cookies are so good (it comes with the recipe)that I can't keep in the house long enough for my customers. My boys have also been experimenting with them and using them on play dough, paint, and pretty much anything they can get their hands on. Scott's Birthday

We celebrated my brother-in-law's Birthday yesterday and this was the card I made for him. Yes their is an inside joke to this card. My youngest son has been scared of clowns, his entire life. If he saw one a mile away he would cry and freak out. Apparently when Uncle Scott is around, he is not afraid of clowns anymore. Scott must have that magic touch. This card was made using the Scallop Punch, Petite Pennants Builder Punch, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch (comes in a Pack), and various circle punches for the face.

I absolutely love Gently Falling Stamp Set in the Holiday Mini Catalog (123802 Wood 123804 Clear). Shelly (Stampin' Up CEO) did a similar card like this at Convention and I thought it was so cute, I had to make one of my own. I used Very Vanilla Cardstock (101650), Soft Suede Ink (115657), More Mustard Ink (103162) and Pool Party Ink (122938). The words Give Thanks is from Hand-Penned Holidays Stamp Set (124310 W 124312 C)in the Holiday Mini. If you order from me in October, you will receive one of these cards.

October Stamp Club

Here are the projects we made this month in Stamp Club. I have changed a few details, and I am about to change a few more. We added scrapbooking to Stamp Club. All the ladies had a choice of making cards, 6x6 scrapbook pages or mixing and matching. If the ladies wanted to make both, then they just had to put a $30.00 (normally they put in a $15.00 order) order in and their projects were free.
Next month I am changing it up a bit and we are going to do 12x12 Scrapbook pages and they get to choose 2 of the 3. The ladies all liked 12x12 a little more then the 6x6 and my club is created for them, so we are changing.
We played with the Stampin' Card Keeper (124107 Mini Holiday Catalog) and covered the top of box with Timeless Portrait Fabric (122337). We covered the inside cards with Timeless Portrait Designer Series Paper (122352).
We also played with the Bleach Technique with Gold Glow Smooch Spritz (118770) and Spice Cake Designer Series Paper (124003 Mini Holiday Catalog).

Woven 12" Scrapbook Class

Directions for Kleenex Box Card

I received quite a few emails on how to make the Kleenex Card, so her you go!
Take a 2 ¼ x 3 ¼ piece of Designer Paper (Beau Chateau 122357) and the Large Oval Punch and punch out an oval out of the middle of the designer paper. Then punch another oval out of a different color designer paper. Then use the Scallop Oval Punch and punch over the oval, so you have a thin border around the oval. Use snail and adhere.

Take the Simply Scored Scoring Tool and score ¼ inch on each edge of the square and cut out the corners once you fold it. Then score 1/8 inch on each side and fold down. I used glue dots to attach the corners and used glue dots to attach to the Marina Mist Cardstock 2 x 3 inches

3. Fold an 8 ½ x 5 ½ piece of cardstock in half (Very Vanilla).
4. Take a 4 x 5 ¼ piece of designer paper and layer on the front of the card
5. I used the Thoughts and Prayer Stamp Set (113252) and the Modern Label Punch (119849). I also punched out Marina Mist with the Curly Label Punch (119851) and put on the back of the Modern Label.

These are the cards and project we will be making at my party tonight. These cards and project are a great way to introduce the New Mini Holiday Catalog and get a taste of each Holiday. Business Meeting Swaps

We had our make-up business meeting last Tuesday, because I was ill on our scheduled meeting. We were down a few people, but it was a great meeting. Club was so much fun this month! I have to say I look forward to Club every month because I have a fabulous group of ladies. I am making a few changes for club going forward in October. Anchorage Regionals

I am back! I had a wonderful time in Anchorage, got to spend time with my brother and his family, the kids had a blast, but it was a quick trip. I was lucky to get 5 hours of sleep a night!
Regional’s was Saturday, so I was pretty nervous about doing my Workshop Wow, it went great though. Five minutes is not a long time to demonstrate a technique and show samples. I will be showing you the Punch-n-Scrap technique samples later this week. If you are in my club, you got to try the technique too!

Frostwood Lodge Class

We will make 5 cards with the Christmas Lodge Stamp Set and Frostwood Lodge Designer Paper. You will go home with half the pack of designer paper for free if you purchase the stamp set and we will use the other half for the cards. Plus we will use the New Glimmer Silver Paper & Dazzling Details. This class is available by mail as long as you order the stamp set. Please add an extra $4.75 for priority shipping and handling. You will receive all the cards, with instructions plus all the embellishments to put on the card (inks sold separetely we used the Regals Collection $24.95 for 10 Stampin' Spots plus StazOn ink $7.95).

Presenter at Anchorage Stampin' Up Regionals!

I was asked last week to present a Workshop Wow at the Anchorage Regional this coming up Saturday. I was so nervous and scared I was having trouble getting inspired so I decided to take the weekend off (Friday and Saturday) and try not to think about it. I am happy to say, I got inspired today and I know what I am doing at the Anchorage Regional’s. I am so honored to be presenting in front of my team members and peers. I will be showing you all of my samples and fun new technique next week when I return, so be on the look out. I will give you a hint; it has to do with being thrifty!!!
No samples today, but I will show some sneak peaks at the Holiday Mini tomorrow!
